OPTION METHOD TRAINING FOR PROFESSIONAL USE
We offer the Option Method Teacher (OMT) designation to those who have completed our 200 Hour Teacher Training Program. An OMT is trained to work with others using The Option Method. Whether you plan to use the Option Method as part of your practice or exclusively, our training will prepare you to confidently conduct dialogues and instruct others to use The Method for personal use.

Training plans generally include the following:
OPTION METHOD TEACHER TRAINING PRACTICUMS (100 HOURS)
The Option Method Teacher Training Practicums are the starting point in becoming an OMT. We consider these two practicums to be minimum training requirements. Previous personal dialogues, dialogue reviews and training are eligible for credit under the practicums.
DEMONSTRATION OF OPTION METHOD PHILOSOPHY AND PRACTICE (40 HOURS)
All applicants for OMT are required to demonstrate knowledge of The Option Method, based on a plan developed by you with your sponsor teacher. Examples of eligible activities are:
COMPLETION OF CLIENT HOURS (60 HOURS)
Completion of a minimum of 60 hours of Option Method Dialogues (20 hours submitted for review).
All applicants for the OMT work directly with an Option Method Master Teacher or Option Method Teacher sponsor who supports them through the program and signs off on the completion of work.

The total cost of the training program will be approximately $10,000 including the Practicums. Work exchanges and payment plans are available.
